Who operates Theory Connect
Theory Connect is a trading name of JNJN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13628506. Our registered office is 14/2E Docklands Business Centre, 10–16 Tiller Road, London, England, E14 8PX. In these terms, “Theory Connect”, “we” and “us” mean JNJN LTD.
The marketplace
Theory Connect helps learners discover independent tutors and classes. Tutors provide the teaching service and remain responsible for professional conduct, accurate profiles, availability and lawful delivery. Approval is a marketplace check, not a government endorsement or guarantee of a test result.
Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds and Theory Connect sends confirmation. Prices are shown before checkout. The platform commission is 15% of the booking price and is deducted from the tutor’s proceeds; it is not added as a surprise learner fee.
Cancellations and refunds
The cancellation amount shown in the booking journey applies unless consumer law requires more. Tutors must not ask learners to move marketplace bookings or payments off-platform. Refund decisions and payment events are recorded for support and audit.
Safety and conduct
Users must provide accurate information, communicate respectfully and never upload unlawful or malicious material. Theory Connect may suspend accounts, hide content, cancel activity or cooperate with authorities when needed to protect users or the service.
Complaints
Email support@theoryconnect.co.uk with your name, account email, booking reference where relevant, and a clear description of the problem. We will acknowledge the complaint and explain the next steps. This does not affect any rights you have under UK consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
